CRUSH CANCER WITH A TWO BY FOUR!

People & pets coming together for one goal: To fight childhood & canine cancer!

Join the fun as two and four legged athletes work to crush cancer with the first annual “Two By Four” Against Childhood & Canine Cancer! The “Two By Four” 5k and Dog/Jog/Fun Run is brought to you by two awesome Loudoun charities – the Canines-N-Kids Foundation and Smashing Walnuts Foundation- who have partnered to raise awareness of and funding for cutting edge research in the cancers that kids and man’s best friend BOTH develop, notably brain cancer, osteosarcoma, lymphoma and leukemia.

Who Benefits?
This race seeks bring together our Loudoun community and beyond - runners, both human and canine, families, running teams, school and community volunteer organizations/clubs and 100% of net proceeds to support the work of the Canines-N-Kids Foundation and Smashing Walnuts Foundation in their missions to fight against cancer in our most vulnerable populations – children and man’s best friend

All Two by Four 5K participants will receive race bibs with timing chips, t-shirts, and awesome finisher medals! Dog Jog/ Fun Run participants will receive Doggie Bandanas and race bibs, however, it is NOT a timed event.

Date & Time: Sunday October 1, 2017

6:40 AM: “Two by Four” Race Day Packet Pick up and Registration begins
8:00 AM 5K Start, (Humans only, timed race; ages 8 and up, no strollers please)
9:00 AM 1K Dog Jog/Fun Run (Humans and dogs, all ages; strollers allowed)
9:30 AM Awards, Prizes Raffles

• Grab and Go Post - Race Breakfast
