We're Helping Kids & Man's Best Friend Beat Cancer!
Kids Helping Companion Animals Summer Camp (an initiative of Fitwize 4 Kids) is working to teach kids about the challenges that both man's best friend and also children face when dealing with similar cancers. Even though they are children, these kids are learning that there are important things they can do to help others in need.
We will be holding a BARKE SALE to raise money to fight cancers kids and man's best friend BOTH develop - terrible cancers like Osteosarcoma (Bone Cancer), Brain Cancer, Lymphoma and Leukemia.
WHEN: Wednesday, July 10th, 8:30AM-4:30PM (**during drop off and at pick up and while goodies last!**)
WHERE: Fitwize 4 Kids 21720 Red Rum Dr #112, Ashburn, VA
The money we raise from our BARKE SALE will be donated to the Canines-N-Kids Foundation, a national nonprofit (based in South Riding, VA). Canines-N-Kids is working to fund important cancer research called "comparative oncology" that could one day help us beat cancer in kids and our furry best friends. They are bringing together pediatric and veterinary cancer doctors and other researchers to study and treat cancer in canine patients when they get sick, so we can better understand and speed new treatments for kids with those same cancers - and help them both!
We will be offering baked goodies for people, as well as yummy dog treats too for donations. Our goal is to raise $1,000 to help Canines-N-Kids Foundation do their important work. If you want to help with baked goods or at the event, please email Linda at Fitwize 4 Kids.
If you can, please come to our BARKE SALE and support these amazing kids! If you can't attend, please consider making a tax deductible donation on this dedicated, secure landing page! Please SHARE!
Thank you for your help!
